FROCKET ZINE .
Chief Editor & Club Co-founder and Creative Director, across the following issues.
Frocket Zine is a Brisbane-based, fashion-oriented, student-run, and student-created magazine. Frocket originated as a unit of the fashion faculty, at Queensland University of Technology's. The magazine was initially known as Frock Paper Scissors, starting as a result of students' assignments from the unit in 2006. Over the years, Frocket underwent a re-launch to Frocket Zine, aiming to appeal to a more student and youth audience. Content evolved to match the new label, encompassing opinionated, quirky, and experimental pieces.

Frocket Zine played a vital role in the university's creative community, providing students with opportunities to creatively contribute, work professionally, and gain insight into real-life, industry-quality magazine production.
During Semester 2 of 2022, myself and other like-minded creatives were fortunate enough to experience the final run of this unit. After the university discontinued the unit, a small and enthusiastic group of us took matters into our own hands to revive the zine project. From November 2022 to late June 2023, our executive, editorial and content teams not only produced the latest issue of Frocket Zine (issue 5 - as shown below) but also established a student university club to oversee the project through future legacies.

The 2023 most current revamp of Frocket, now as a solely student-run initiative; our goal was to create fresh content for each issue, along with a website and a strong social media presence on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We aimed to engage not only QUT students but also the youth of Brisbane in this creative opportunity.

Our aspiration was to give back to the community, offering the same opportunity we had ourselves. I contributed to the zine as Co-Creative Director in 2022, and worked as Chief Editor, Co-Founder and Club President of Frocket, in 2023.
An amazing experience.
